200gsm, so it’s properly opaque. Most printed jerseys at this price sit around 150gsm and go sheer across the seat when you stretch them over leggings. This one doesn’t. No lining needed.

160cm wide, and no pattern matching. The print is dense and non-directional, so you can lay pieces in either direction and lose nothing. Between the width and the free layout, a metre goes a long way here — most people need less than they expect.

Best for: wrap dresses, midi skirts, long-sleeve tops, leggings, loungewear sets, kids’ clothing.

Not ideal for: structured tailoring, anything needing a crisp edge or a stand-up collar.

Sewing notes

Use a ballpoint or stretch needle (80/12) and a narrow zigzag or overlocker. A walking foot helps if you’re topstitching hems. Woolly nylon in the loopers gives a softer finish on necklines. No pre-wash needed, but a rinse is sensible if you’re mixing it with cotton in the same garment.

How much do I need? At 160cm wide: a short-sleeve top takes around 1m, a long-sleeve top 1.2m, leggings 1.2m, a midi skirt 1.5m, a wrap dress 2–2.5m.
